Gynecologist near me- Kharghar- Understanding importance of multiple sonography in pregnancy

A 23 year old woman, Primi ( pregnant for the first time)resident of Sector-10, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, has been consulting us for her pregnancy.

As per the protocol when the pregnancy was past 18 weeks, we asked her to do Ultrasound- Anomaly scan.

Now this is a very important test as the fetus is examined in detail, from head to toe by way of ultrasound in this.

If any abnormality is detected which is either non-correctible or life threatening for the baby after birth, termination can be offered as 2nd trimester MTP- abortion upto 20 weeks.

This is the only way.

For this particular woman, her grand mother was hesitant as coming out in these difficult times.

Upon our counselling and explanation as to the importance of the test, they agreed to do the test.

Life continues so as our important work, that can not be ignored.
