A 36 year old ,mother of 1 child and desirous of further child bearing,a staff nurse by profession,resident of Juinagar,Navi Mumbai consulted Dr.Himani R Gupta,Gynecologist from Kharghar,navi Mumbai.
She complained of heavy menses and pain lower abdomen.

She was advised surgery as the fibroid was very large-16 cm
This big a fibroid can compress surrounding structures like ureters, bowel etc.
