-Sr. AMH (Anti Mullerian Hormone) -Low

-Sr FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) -High

When did mother & sisters achieve menopause?

Similar history in them.

History of any kind of malignancy

 

Local examination

Per speculum examination

Per vaginum examination

 

Post coital injury

 

Examine cervix

-Pap’s smear

-HPV testing

 

Ultrasound of pelvis

-Trans abdominal

-Trans vaginal

-Uterus

-Endometrial lining

-Ovaries

 

Hysteroscopy with targeted endometrial biopsy

 

D&C with histopathology of endometrial curetting

 

Cervical punch biopsy

 

What can NOT be given as treatment

-Hormones

-Levonorgestrel releasing intra uterine device

 

Co-morbid conditions may be there

-Diabetes

-Hypertension

-High cholesterol

 

Recurrence of bleeding

-Laparoscopic hysterectomy

-Vaginal hysterectomy

-Hysterectomy by laparotomy
