UTI-It is a very common reason for Day 3 fever post Cesarean delivery

                                               

A 24 year old woman, resident of Road Pali,Panvel consulted Dr.Himani R Gupta,Gynecoloist & Obstetrician from Kharghar Navi Mumbai.

She had a LSCS delivery.

On Day-3 she had a mild spike of fever.

On investigation her urine routine showed pus cells.

As during Cesarean,we put Foley catheter in the urinary bladder,it can cause urinary infection.

Antibiotics and Cital syrup are required

It is a very common reason for Day 3 fever post Cesarean delivery
