Real Women-Real Experiences-31.1.19- One with Sub-Fertility

A 39 year old woman , resident of sector 35- Kharghar, Navi Mumbai came for consultation. She has one living male child by normal delivery who is now 8 years old. She is desirous of second pregnancy since last more than 1 year.
All the standard primary investigations of infertility including follicular study, USG pelvis, Husband's semen analysis have been normal.
A few basic treatment cycles were done for her including ovulation induction with Clomiphene Citrate and timed intercourse.
When she failed to conceive, the couple decided to stop all treatment and get on with life.
This happened 4 months back.
Just a couple of days ago she missed her menses and her urine pregnancy test is positive and she is on cloud 9

We have always maintained that many a couples seeking fertility treatment are actually subfertile. Given enough time to try on their own, they will eventually come with pregnancy achieved.
And subsequently due care can be provided to them.
